Bassoon Reed Blank: $15.00
These blanks are made in the Herzberg style, following all standard Herzberg measurements. Blanks are clipped and there is no additional finishing work done to them. I use a very large variety of hot glue colors, so each blank is uniquely wrapped!
“Day 1” Bassoon Reed: $18.00
'“Day 1” reeds have a baseline framework of tapers filed into the cane, but they are not finished reeds. Day 1 reeds give the customer freedom to refine the reed to their preferences without having to start from scratch on a much thicker blank. For beginning reed-makers, Day-1 reeds provide a very useful framework/guideline for learning how to finish reeds. I use a very large variety of hot glue colors, so each reed is uniquely wrapped!
Finished Bassoon Reed: $24.00
Finished reeds are worked on until they are at a playable level. I test all reeds on a 7000 series Heckel. I use a very large variety of hot glue colors, so each reed is uniquely wrapped!
